As many of you are aware, HMRC removed the ability to submit amended forms P11D and P11D(b) via print and post after the 6th of April 2023. Software developers were not notified of this change in advance of the notification in February 2023.

Despite our continued pressure on HMRC, the situation remains that their "systems are not able to accept amendments via 3rd party software or HMRC's own software, and they would be unable to accept electronic lists being submitted for amendments”.

PAS Ltd will continue to petition for a change in this policy so that those customers with multiple amendments to submit can do so in an effective and streamline fashion - we are in 2023 and this whole process should be frictionless and pain free.

We would urge you to get in touch with your HMRC contact and make them aware of the problems you face and why this position is unacceptable - it is likely that change will only occur if sufficient pressure is brought to bear.
