Setting Up Workday to Communicate with P11D Organiser

Background

This article offers some guidance in setting up Workday to facilitate communication with the P11D Organiser when using the Workday Connector.


Steps

Step 1 - Create Integration System User (Security Administrator)

  • User Name: P11D_Organiser_ISU
  • Password: *************


Step 2 - Create Security Group > Integration System Security Group (Unconstrained)

 

Step 3 - Add ISU to ISSG

Step 4 - Add Security Group to Domains

  • Domain: Set Up: Company General (Get)
  • Domain: Set Up: Tax (Get)
  • Domain: Worker Data: Public Worker Reports (Get)
  • Domain: Former Worker Storage (Get)
  • Domain: Person Data: Gender (Get) **Access to Gender**
  • Domain: Person Data: Date of Birth (Get) **Access to Date of Birth**
  • Domain: Person Data: ID Information (Get) **Access to National Insurance Number**

Step 5 - Set Up Publishing

Repeat steps above but select ‘Put’ when adding security group to the domain 

  • Worker Data: Add Worker Documents
  • Worker Data: Edit and Delete Worker Documents
  • Set Up: Payroll OR Payroll Interface 

 

 

Activate pending security policy changes;

Step 6 - Adding External Payroll Document / Change ID Value
(Needs to be completed by someone with Payroll Security Groups)

Access Maintain External Payroll Document Types

Add new type by clicking on the + icon.

Enter a name, Country & tick “Show to Employee” box if applicable 

Click save/ok

 

Step 7 - Change Integration Reference ID

Access View External Payroll Document Types

Navigate on spyglass related actions for require document

Integration IDs > Edit Reference ID

Enter require ID value (as shown below)
