12 Pay Period Test

Objective

This test is designed as a ‘complete year’ basic test. I consists of multiple spreadsheets each with multiple tabs to allow employees and benefits to be imported, the payroll ‘run’, and the process repeated for each pay period.

Tasks

1. Import/create the company
2. Import the employees for April
3. Import the cars, vans, medical and ‘others’ benefits for April
4. Run April pay export and check the output matches the data imported
5. Repeat the process for all 12 pay periods with constant reviews of data and YTD figures

Details

It should be doing the following in each pay period.

April

• Add 75 employees
• Assign 40 cars including two dual allocations (PN722963S & PN924770S)
• Assign 70 medical benefits, including one double (PN722963S)
• Assign 10 vans
• Add 10 'other' payrolled benefits

May

• 1 Joiner
• 2 Leavers
• Assign 2 cars to employees
• End 1 car
• Swap out 2 cars
• Add 2 medical
• Change 1 medical
• One additional other

June

• 2 joiners
• 1 leaver
• End 2 cars
• Swap 4 cars
• Change 1 medical
• End 1 medical
• End 1 van
• Change 1 van
• Add 1 van
• All other plus 1

July

• 1 joiner
• 4 leavers
• Update 3 medical
• All other

August 

• 2 leavers
• Swap 2 cars
